'Biofilms: the predominant bacterial phenotype in nature'

About the Biofilm Club Membership Meetings Publications International pages Links News Research Groups

The Biofilm Club was formed in 1992. The Club holds 2 to 3 one-day meetings a year on
specialist topics plus a more general 2-day meeting at Gregynog Hall in mid Wales every
other year. Contributors to the Gregynog meeting are asked to provide a manuscript well
before the meeting. These are then edited and published as a book before the meeting and
distributed to members who attend. All members are entitled to a copy of the Gregynog
book: this is included in the membership fee.

The Biofilm Club has a constitution and is run by a committee elected at the Gregynog
meeting. The Club encourages membership of postgraduate students: at present about a
quarter of our membership fall in this category.

For more information on becoming a member or purchasing books contact any member of
the Committee. To join you can complete the membership form and send it
